Saturnus' Return (Idle Rougelike Tower Defence)

Saturnus’ Return was made in just 4 days for GMTK 2025, with the theme “LOOP.”

The timelines are collapsing. Saturnus, the last Roman god, is the only thing standing between the remnants of the Empire and endless waves of enemies from across history. Every defeat rewinds time—Saturnus will rise again to try once more.

This is a roguelite tower defense where:

• Every failure resets your run, but your money carries over.

• Spend wisely to unlock permanent upgrades.

• Survive as long as you can and fight back the horde!

We made all code and art ourselves (just two of us, and one of us was a total first-timer!) It’s a bit unbalanced, but we hope you have fun looping through chaos.
