CULTivate

Information 

CULTivate was made for the full time game dev game jam and was made completely from scratch within 48 hours! 

You will build a cult compound slowly completing the next cult objective on the road to global domination! Make sure your loyal cultist followers have somewhere to live, work and play!

I came to this theme by going down the rabbit hole of breaking the golden rule, then realising there are many "Golden Rules" in life; what would a cultists be?  The theme thought process went something like this; The golden rule - what if you broke the golden rule - different people have different “golden rules” - what is a cults golden rule.

A big hurdle early on in the game jam was I  was being far too ambitious, this was my first 48 hour jam. I achieved a lot of what I wanted to in some capacity or another, I wish to return to this project and continue to add to it as I love the theme and feel of the game in this prototype stage.

Here is a list of thing's I  wanted to add but ultimately run out of time and may come in a build in the future;

• Particle-Effects
• Weather system
• Animated bubbles/UI
• AI cult members that walk around the compound
